    The story of Reyna tells me some truths about growth.

    First, you must keep growth, don't give up on yourself, no matter how terrible situation your are experiencing is , all the suffering and hard time will be a gift of your life. making you are stronger,more powerful and motivative to get success. Reyna is as a girl experiencing a lot of bad things, the family separation, the extreme poverty, the  sneaking  across the border of Mexico, all these bad things shape her as a sensitive and more emotional person, it is also a gift for her. 


    Second, one's success is not only determined by her growth environment, how you treat the difficulty and how you look at yourself is also the key point of the success. Rayna's father didn't agree she go to study in university, she didn't give up and she continued her studies in community college, and she transferred to the 4-years university eventually. 


    Third, if you want to become the person you dream of being, you must work hard and believe in yourself, only work hare and believe in yourself, when you make your self very strong and skillful, you will meet some People who appreciate you and are willing to help you,you will find the value of yourself.when Rena met her mentor who changed her life，not only because the teacher is a nice person who loves to help others, but also because Rana is such a telenced person and make the teacher like and appreciate her so much, that the reason why she give her so much encourage and help.


   So, in the process of growth,one should find their passion ,the love, the talent for something, This will help build confidence and leave a lasting impression.


    In conclusion, it is a good story to me, thanks Ms.Lee give me a chance to read, if not a task I must to finish, I might not have picked up a novel.

To me, cheating and plagiarizing are unacceptable. I was taught from a young age in school that these behaviors are disgraceful and shameful. First, we should have a positive attitude toward the class. The purpose of taking this course is to improve our English and skills, not just to get high scores.    Actually ,this is my first English novel. I am very grateful to Professor Lee for giving this reading task to me . At first, I felt pressured and doubted I could not  finish it at all.However, as I gradually immersed the story ,I found I was completely captivated by it, Without realizing it, my English reading skills improved along the way. At the beginning, I had to constantly look up words, but later I was able to guess meanings and read smoothly from start to finish. I realized that reading is such a wonderful way to learn.    The author, RENA, uses very emontional and detailed writing to describe her childhood experiences including family separation, poverty, despair, and the lack of love.
