Evidence of attending one Writing Center Workshop

    I attended the Writing Center workshop. This was my first time trying this learning resource, and I found it very useful. I learned that I can get class assistance for any of my courses. I studied four types of sentences: simple sentences, compound sentences, complex sentences, and compound-complex sentences. I also learned how to analyze sentence structure and how to correct them. I discovered that there are many different workshops for various topics, and they are very helpful. The teachers there are also very kind and supportive.

To me, cheating and plagiarizing are unacceptable. I was taught from a young age in school that these behaviors are disgraceful and shameful. First, we should have a positive attitude toward the class. The purpose of taking this course is to improve our English and skills, not just to get high scores. Hard work is the only way to achieve our goals, so we should never turn to cheating. Second, we need to spend enough time and energy to the class. Since we chose this course, we must take responsibility for our learning and do our best. Lastly, if we encounter difficulties with assignments, we can seek help from a dictionary, teachers, or classmates instead of copying someone else's work.    Actually ,this is my first English novel. I am very grateful to Professor Lee for giving this reading task to me . At first, I felt pressured and doubted I could not  finish it at all.However, as I gradually immersed the story ,I found I was completely captivated by it, Without realizing it, my English reading skills improved along the way. At the beginning, I had to constantly look up words, but later I was able to guess meanings and read smoothly from start to finish. I realized that reading is such a wonderful way to learn.    The author, RENA, uses very emontional and detailed writing to describe her childhood experiences including family separation, poverty, despair, and the lack of love.
