Mark My First Credit Course, I Am Gratful for Being Here!

     I really want to say something more about the class after finishing all the portfolio.actually, this is my first credit course, And I am truly grateful for being here and meeting all of you—our kind teacher Ms. Lee, tutor Loisa, and all the classmates we grow together .Like many middle-aged students, we came with our own stories, but we made it through together.

    I especially want to thank Ms. Lee, and your teaching style is so perfessional and effective. Your class is full of  kindness ,warmth and sincerity. I always remember you correct my pronunciation word by word ,typing them in chat, you never got tired of pointing out my basic mistakes in the paper, you encourage me reading my first English book, DBU. you always keep a wonderful smile on your pretty face, all of the moment is the motivation that makes me going forward. That was exactly the reason why AMLA80  is a special experience to me.

    Althouth my english foundation is poor, I still hope I can keep working hard until one day I can fluently communicate with my daughter's teachers, talking on the phone and reading emails. I hope that one day I will no longer feel like I want to escape when I meet someone speaking English. and one day I can continue to do the work of social media  as I did in china.

    I want to end this course with a line from a song that expresses how I feel: "You will climb the mountain and see a vast plain, where the sunlight breaks through the clouds." I’m still climbing at the foot of the mountain, but I choose to believe that one day, I’ll reach the top and see a different, beautiful view.

Distance Between Us - Journal Submissions 1

   Actually ,this is my first English novel. I am very grateful to Professor Lee for giving this reading task to me . At first, I felt pressured and doubted I could not  finish it at all.However, as I gradually immersed the story ,I found I was completely captivated by it, Without realizing it, my English reading skills improved along the way. At the beginning, I had to constantly look up words, but later I was able to guess meanings and read smoothly from start to finish. I realized that reading is such a wonderful way to learn.    The author, RENA, uses very emontional and detailed writing to describe her childhood experiences including family separation, poverty, despair, and the lack of love.
