   Actually ,this is my first English novel. I am very grateful to Professor Lee for giving this reading task to me . At first, I felt pressured and doubted I could not  finish it at all.However, as I gradually immersed the story ,I found I was completely captivated by it, Without realizing it, my English reading skills improved along the way. At the beginning, I had to constantly look up words, but later I was able to guess meanings and read smoothly from start to finish. I realized that reading is such a wonderful way to learn.    The author, RENA, uses very emontional and detailed writing to describe her childhood experiences including family separation, poverty, despair, and the lack of love. why do you think humman rights is immportant to immigrants?     human rights are very important for all immigrants, many immigrants come from a country due to a lack of basic human right, they move to seek a more secure and free place to settle in , human right is kind of protection  from unfair treatment, politics ,movement, and discrimination, these rights can promises them live a better environment, they feel safe and also help immigrants integrate more smoothly into their new communities .    make the assemble to the new country and engage themself to this country .if the society didn't agree on these human right, the society will mess up ,and in bad organization, if immigrants feel they are not protected properly here ,they will not live here for long ,maybe go back their home country and will not put all their wealth here. in order to uphold these right ,every one has the responsibility, we should act the right from ourself ,to learn ,to act ,to let ...

  How can we fix these sentence? identify whether each is a Comma Splice (CS), Run-on (RO), or correct (C). In today's class ,Ms. Loisa  give us a wonderful lesson on how to fix the sentences. CS,RO,and C,I  learned a lot and did some exercese, I realize this is a small part I never paid attention to before, but it is so immportant in English  . It really helped me  more clearly understand the using of comma,actually ,even a small punctuation mistakes can change the meaning or clarity of a sentence. For example, I used to put together two independent clauses with a comma, I don't konw that it’s a comma splice. Now, I know that I should use a period, a semicolon, or a coordinating conjunction like “and” or “but.” I also practiced identifying run-on sentences, which are long and confusing because they aren’t separated properly.
